What is it?
The Bay Supper Club aims to bring a new dining experience to Brighton. Chef Richard Griffiths will twice weekly be transforming his living room into a cosy restaurant, where the emphasis will be on great food, served in a relaxed environment. Only the best seasonal and local sourced produce will be used to make this an unforgettable dining experience.
The Chef
Richard began working as a chef by accident, filling in when someone left their post at a restaurant in his native Shropshire. It was at this restaurant (The Crown Country Inn, Munslow) that he worked closely with Masterchef of Great Britain, Richard Arnold, who proved to be a great mentor and influence. The emphasis at the two AA rosette restaurant was on great local produce, cooked to do it justice. Richard then spent a short period at ‘Le Manoir Aux Quat Saison,’ working as part of a large team at Raymond Blanc’s iconic 2 Michelin starred restaurant before gaining valuable experience at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalls ‘River Cottage.’
